Events & Workshops – participatory museum for tech

Workshop im Fördertechnik Museum

The Fördertechnik Museum in Sinsheim offers a wide range of interactive programs where children and young people can train their inventive talent as part of a workshop or other events:

The aim of the Fördertechnik Museum is to get young people interested in technology and to promote hands-on work in projects. An important element in achieving this goal is the interactive programs offered by the „Kinder-Erfinder-Kreis-Sinsheim“. As “fischertechnik” is very well suited as an illustrative example of physical laws and technical solutions, the participants learn through play about topics such as statics, mechanics, pneumatics, sensor technology, computing and more.

The Fördertechnik Museum regularly organises “fischertechnik” workshops. Workshop days can be attended on Fridays and Saturdays during school hours. Here, children and young people can realise their own projects such as marble runs, remote-controlled cars or a freefall tower. Over the course of five weekdays, participants have the opportunity to draw from the full “fischertechnik” pool. Whether purely manual, motorised, with compressed air or even programmed – all participants get their money’s worth here. Drinks are included in the price of the event.

Workshop A: Friday from 14:30 – 17:00
Workshop B: Saturday from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm

Participation fee: 60 €

There’s nothing worse than boredom during the holidays. We take a decisive approach to this with our holiday workshops: During most holidays, holiday workshops are offered at the Fördertechnik Museum. Here, the tech world is explored over four days. From Tuesday to Friday, participants can look forward to Experience, marvel and, above all, invent. The time is used to intensively accompany the children and young people in their own projects and inventions with the “fischertechnik” construction kit system. In addition to the haptics, the participants’ imagination and ability to work on their own projects are also trained. The holiday workshop includes a hot meal and drinks at lunchtime.

Tue – Fri from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm

Participation fee: 90 €

The self-developed Axmann modular system is waiting to be discovered. On the one hand, there are various models from the field of conveyor technology that can be assembled from the original industrial profiles, motors and tools. On the other hand, it is also possible to realise your own projects in workshops. Accompanied by a trained specialist, amazing models can be invented, planned and built. The workshops are particularly suitable for intergenerational work.
