Children’s birthday party in the museum

In our museum, you can celebrate a children’s birthday party for your little ones in a technological atmosphere and explore the exciting world of conveyor technology. Exciting and interactive exhibitions and lots of fun, games and sport await the children here. Our museum uniquely combines science and technology with an entertaining atmosphere to make the birthday an unforgettable experience.

Varied & exciting birthday parties

The birthday party can start with a tour of the exhibition halls, where the machines are set in motion using push buttons to illustrate physics and technology. Our museum robot Nobby can guide the children to the individual exhibits in the collection and explain them with his lovable robot character. All curious kids can book an individual children’s tour for €40. Here, the history of conveyor technology is explained in an age-appropriate way and many interesting technical secrets are revealed.

After the exciting discovery tour, there is plenty of fun and action on the programme in our indoor playground. The children can work off their energy on three different slides, conquer the obstacle course, play on the football pitch or put their skills to the test on the table tennis table. A shared ride in our racing car fleet provides additional excitement and adventure for everyone.

Of course, every successful birthday party also includes a decorated and laid birthday table, which we will provide for the desired time.

You can choose between two birthday packages to organise your party:

Birthday package with food

Price per child: €17

(Minimum number: five packages per birthday)

Includes:

  • Admission tickets to the Fördertechnik Museum
  • Place at a set table with birthday decorations
  • Food: French fries with chicken nuggets
    Or: French fries and ice cream for dessert
  • Drink of your choice
  • The birthday child celebrates free of charge

Guided tour for children: €40

Birthday package without food

Price per child: €13

(Minimum number: five packages per birthday)

Includes:

  • Admission tickets to the Fördertechnik Museum
  • Place at a set table with birthday decorations
  • Drink of your choice

  • We offer two party times: 10:00 – 13:30 or 14:30 – 18:00.
  • The minimum purchase for a children’s birthday party is €85 (not including adult admission). If the total of the birthday packages is less than €85, this amount will be rounded up to €85.
  • A birthday cake/muffins may be brought to each party. Other food and drinks (including sweets, crisps, snacks and fruit/vegetables) may not be brought along.
  • Children must bring socks or trainers, as shoes must be removed in the indoor hall and walking barefoot is not permitted for reasons of hygiene.
  • The museum staff are not responsible for looking after the children during the visit. This is the sole responsibility of the accompanying person(s). Individual components included in the respective birthday packages cannot be exchanged or replaced. If they are not used, they will be cancelled without replacement.
  • If you would like to bring your own decorations for the table, please discuss this with us.

  • The children’s birthday party gathers at the cash desk and enters the museum when all participants are present.
  • The birthday packages and the entrance fee for the adults are paid at the cash desk before entering the museum.
  • The birthday child and their guests are welcomed in the bistro and shown to the birthday table.
  • Children’s food and drink requests are entered on the order slip provided and handed in to the bistro staff.
  • Adult and additional orders are placed and paid for directly at the bistro cash desk.
  • Drinks are provided on the birthday table. Food will be served at the booked time.
  • At the end of the party time, the children’s birthday party leaves the museum closed. Children can be picked up by their parents in the car park or in the foyer.

Cancellation of the children’s birthday party is possible free of charge up to one week before the date. In the event of a no-show without prior written cancellation, the Fördertechnik Museum reserves the right to charge an expense fee of €100.
